Old Pals Pils is a German-style Pils(ner) that is pale gold in color, light bodied, and well-attenuated. A base of pilsner malt lays a background of grainy-sweetness and crackers, but the real player here is the hops. Multiple boil additions layer herbal and floral flavors and a soft, lingering bitterness, and a dry-hop provides a refined and "noble" aroma. Clean fermentation and a crisp finish from the German lager yeast makes it easy to reach for the next pint.

Very clean, lots of malt, herbal and earthy. Balanced, tasty. Represents the high baseline of quality of this brewery.

Tap at Magpie Seoul. Bright gold, clear, with a low head. Lemony nose, crackery malt. Lemony flavor, light, crisp malt. A touch of honey, decently bitter. Nicely done pilsner.

Spicy grains. Clear gold with a rich whole head. Spicy grains with a nice little bite. Solid.
