Two 330ml cans, batch 350, bought at Vinmonopolet Hamar. Shared with Leif and Dag Erik. Patchy surface, dotted spots on the glass, unclear reddish-brown body. Promising mid-sweet aromas of dried fruits and bread-like malts. Rather similar taste character of bread, caramel and dried fruits. Lingering malt-fruity finish. Decent nightcap. (Hamar 27.02.2020).

On tap at The Madhouse HK, pours an opaque burgundy with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out lots of bready malt upfront, with a hint of dry toasted caramel. Flavour is very malty, with bready malt, toasted caramel, and red fruits. Very malty, an English-style barley wine - nicely done.
