Bottle at Deans impromptu Monday Tasting, Den Haag. Poured a clear straw colour with a thin white head and some broken white lace. The aroma is rich nettle hop citrus malt. The flavour is medium bitter with a rich tropical fruit palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lots going on. Lots of fresh fruit flavours.

Cask at Cloisters, Edinburgh. Pours light hazy gold, foamy white head. Aromas of caramel malt, citrus hops, orange and grapefruit, light resin. Taste brings more of the same, quite rich and satisfying. Creamy, and with a clean finish. Good.

On cask at Cloisters. Appearance - golden and hazy with a nice head. Nose - not blowing me away. Some gentle citrus and pale malt. Taste - more pronounced than the nose. Distinctive grapefruit and papaya. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly fresh finish. Overall - good example of the style.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Amber-orange with a thick creamy head. Despite a higher than average strength there’s little evidence of it in its flavours and has a high citric hoppy, tropical fruit aroma with plenty of tropical fruits in its taste. Good body.

Slightly hazy orange color, small off-white head. Fruity hoppy, kind of spicey aroma. Medium-bodied. Fruity-hoppy flavor with hints of ginger. Weird.

330ml bottle from Les Crepes de Sophie, Shrewsbury. Fairly bitter with big helping of grapefruit, crisp pine and a little juicy citrus. Big bold hops and a restrained ABV make for a drinkable, if rather dry, Pale.
