Tasting at Oakes' Manor; bottle
Hazy golden colour. Often ginger in beer gets soapy, but apparently the calvados is a good marriage, the result is quite refreshing, mildly sour, a bit woody.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light ginger upfront, followed by light calvados, and light wild yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, with bright ginger, calvados barrels, and wild yeast. Bright and refreshing, with rather subtle ginger, and wild, funky notes on the finish. Excellent.

750ml (thx, Mathieu P.!) shared at Josh's and Sunshine's rooftop. Appearance: hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: lots of ginger, some fruity, brett, and maybe barrel. Taste: similar. Overall: ok.

Hazy light amber colour. Just a thin head. On the nose, it's a nice bretty, gingery aroma. The palate is light, bretty, has a mellow tartness in the finish. The ginger is pronounced but balanced with the brett and tartness. Sweet pale malts underpin it all. Nice brew, balanced well.

Light ginger and some funk. Clear gold with a decent with a decent white head. Candied ginger, light apple and some sour notes. Decent.
