Anticipate aromas of citrus and tropical fruits, with big flavours of melon and grapefruit, followed by a subtle piney earthiness. Hopped with local Cascade, Chinook and Centennial hops for a floral and earthy character.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy orange yellow with yeast particles that settle on the bottom and a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of bready pale malt, orange, mango, cantaloupe, earthy yeast and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready pale malt, grapefruit peel, mango, pineapple, earthy yeast, oats and pine resin in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with a slightly creamy, smooth texture and soft carbonation. Juicy and delicious.

Poured from the tap. Cloudy blonde with small white head. Tropical and melon hops, creamy subdued juiciness, light chalk, quite nice.

A hazed blonde ipa with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with herbal hops, fruity esters, pleasant. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with fruity esters, light tropical fruits, herbal hops, OK.

Muddy yellow body and okay foam, juicy oily hops on the nose. Flavour is okay hoppy juiciness. A little thin on the mouth. Pretty standard for this kind of IPA.

Nice creamy citrus. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Bright citrus peel and some nice bitterness that has a long finish.

Tall can from Denman LRS at Ilya's. Appearence: murky dirty golden with a white head Aroma: tropical fruits Taste: tons of tropical fruits with some toothpaste freshness, noticable hoppy bitterness Overall: very nice!

On tap at Luppolo, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out chalky notes, some yeast, dank hops, and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with dank hops, yeast, and biscuity malt. A bit too yeasty, but the dankness is very nice. Solid stuff.

Cloudy blond colour with medium head. The aroma is fruity, very nice, a bit tropical, mellow, fresh. Good body, good malt base, good hopping; it's moderately bitter and it's juicy, with accent on oranges and orange peel; maybe a bit weak in the final.

Murky blond colour with small compact head. Dank aroma. The mouthfeel is dry, not chalky for the style; just mildly juicy, but also quite dank; pithy bitterness in the finish, not too pleasant.
Ok beer.

Jan 2019: Opaque, murky look to it. Nice weesy hop nose, moderate bitterness, lupy powder sort of greenness to it. Big rich dank tho. 6 8 8 6 7.5 = 7.4.
April 2025. Chinook, Centennial, Super Sauvin, Motueka. Definitely a new hop blend. Significantly different hop blend from the one I rated in 2019. opaque, pale, thin head. Weedy, dank assertive hop note. Not what I was expecting but I do like it. The malt isn’t superb but it’s enough. 3 7 8 4 15
