Bottle from The Gull, North Vancouver
Hazy blond colour, medium head. It starts with notes of malt, cereals; then some gentle Brett, and honey. Dry mouthfeel; there's Some nice malt and strong Brett. Some pithy bitterness in the finish.
If I think of it as a Belgian pale ale, it's very good.

My brother dropped off a bottle, and after Diez Vistas it seemed like a good call. Straw colour, light haze. Nice brett aroma, but with way too much pedio, with some noble hop. On the palate, more pedio, brett...nice lean body and good bitterness. If it was just brett, this would work, but too much pedio has gotten into this.

Semi-cloudy yellow body and a bit of white foam, dry light grain on the nose and nothing else. Flavour is semi-rancid grain, neither here nor there, the kind of funky that's not the right kind of funk. Full enough on the mouth. Not doing much for me.

Light funk. Clear pale gold with a small white head. Funk and a light bitterness. Very farmhouse.
