Five years ago you’d have to have rocks in your head to start a brewery dedicated to Belgian-style beers, and that’s even more true today. Most beer drinkers don’t know anything about Belgian beer!
But who cares? We’re not brewing for most people! We’re brewing for ourselves, and for a small group of beer drinkers who know what’s up. You’ve stuck by us and we’ll stick by you.
They say that saison isn’t sexy anymore. When has that ever stopped us? We love saison, so we made it to celebrate our fifth anniversary.
FIVE is dry (as saison should be), dry-hopped (as saison should be), and bottle-conditioned (as saison should be).

On tap at Farmhouse Fest 2019, pours a cloudy bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out rustic saison yeast and some dry hopping. Flavour brings out rustic saison yeast, dry hopping, and a hint of floral notes. Oaky and rustic. Excellent.

Touch of fruity esters and light black pepper. Cloudy gold with a rich white head. Clean and touch of esters that is expected, with a nice dry finish. Solid.

Draught at Darby's Gastown, Vancouver
Hazy blond colour. Mild farmhouse aroma, a bit stronger in the flavour, fairly dry, bitter orange peel in the finish. Some astringency.

Blonde. Hazy. Quite floral. Has a nice spiciness. Light bitterness. This is good, maybe a bit on the sweet side, but solid.

Glass shared with Josh. Appearance: hazy blonde with a shite Aroma: malty and crispy. Taste: similar, flowery, somewhat similar to Belgian Saison. Overall: pretty good.
