There’s been a lot to divide our two provinces lately, so Dageraad and Blindman got together to focus on what unites us. The good people from Blindman Brewing walked to our Burnaby brewery from the Skytrain station carrying a couple bags of Alberta-grown and malted barley from Red Shed Malting on their shoulders. We started up the mill and went about brewing this crushable little beer.

473mL can, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out spicy rustic saison yeast and a hint of juniper. Flavour is bright and spicy, with spicy rustic saison yeast, a little juniper, and some gentle fruitiness. Spicy and bright. Good stuff.

Light funk, citrus and coconut. Cloudy yellow with a frothy small head. Much like the nose, nice light and finish. Easy and light with some solid flavors.

Can, Firefly. Quite pale, hazy, just a thin head. On the nose, mostly a grisette type yeast, with a light spiciness. Not necessarily identifiable as juniper, but it could be that. Balanced finish with just a light tartness. I quite like it.
