500mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma reveals an intense rye whiskey barrel character upfront, followed by red wine barrels, medium roast, and a touch of maple syrup. Flavour is rich and decadent, with a wonderful blend of maple syrup, whiskey barrels, port red wine, and roast. Damn, that's complex and well-rounded, yet still quite intense. Really nice mix of barrels, which temper the maple syrup. Excellent.

Bouteille 500ml, gracieuseté de msjpearson, Thanks Mike! Couleur noire opaque, mousse moka fugace. Arôme de Porto, barrique, tire d'érable, alcool, sirop d'érable foncé, café, Whisky. Goût de Whisky, malt torréfié, Porto en fin de bouche, pointe de sirop d'érable foncé, légère acidité, soupçon de café. Carbonatation faible, corps dense, collante.

Sergey's hunt, bottle
Black colour, small brown head. Chocolate and spirit, moderately sweet, mellow vanilla; very similar to the regular Mother Night, but it seems a bit richer.
Excellent.

Nice barrel and chocolate roast. Jet brown with a small light brown head. Lots of wood and some boozy notes with a long dark malt finish. Not sure about the port finish.

500ml bottle (thx, Brian C.!) at Farees'. Appearance: very dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma: bourbon, dark fruits, sweetness, some sweet dark cherries notes. Taste: along the same lines with lots of whiskey notes when it became warmer. Overall: nice one.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet chocolate notes with clear whisky and port barrel notes coming through with some residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of chocolate notes with some residual sugar with nice notes of whiskey and port bring additional balance and smoothness to the taste. Body is full with thick consistency and good carbonation with very light warming alcohol notes. Superb imperial stout with great balance and flavours.
