(Tap sample @ Birreria Volo, Toronto, Sept 26/19) Pours murky orange with a white head. Sweeter citrus and pit fruit core, leafy and moderately dank, brioche malt and even a touch of pale caramel, grassy/leafy Nelson vibes pop up towards the finish. Drying slightly resinous bitterness. Medium-plus body, smooth creamy carbonation. Solid brew if a little less bright than I desire in a DIPA.

Smakprov på Brewskival 2019. Något tjockare guldisig. Citrus, gräslök, syltigt, sött, tuggigt. Frisk och fruktig och ganska torr. Gott.

On tap at Darby's, pours an opaque cloudy milky yellow with a small white head. Aroma is dank and yeasty, with tons of stone fruit pith upfront, followed by some citrus, and tropical fruit residue. Flavour is extremely filthily yeasty, with lots of dank hops, yeast soup, and tropical fruit pith. Pretty much everything I can't stand about hazies condensed into this one -- lots of yeast, pith, chalky, and overall, just very messy. I have no idea what certain other raters are impressed by here; very amateur, uncoordinated brew. Twin Sails is usually better than this.

2019-06-04, can from the brewery, 9-4-8-4-18=43
Murky blond colour with creamy head, persistent. The aroma is so more expressive than from the small glass at the brewery, an explosion of tropical fruit, papaya, mango, also cedar, in the front; a dank whiff a bit later. Lean body, it seems less sweet than on tap, decently carbonated, vaguely chalky, with light malt base, light salt; the finish is very juicy, but with a late piney note; correct bitterness.
Excellent, one of the best Twin Sails DIPAs in a long time.

2019-06-04, draught at the brewery, 8-3-8-5-17=41
Murky blond colour, almost no head. Moderately dank, very juicy, some citrus zest, moderate sweetness, not chalky.
Some may find it sweet, but it has some bitter balance, and the right hop punch.
Excellent.

Opaque, no head, lots of lupy powder. Mellow lupy powder taste, soft, not super interesting.

Citrus and some baking spice. Murky yellow gold with a decent white head. Intense citrus, light spice and a soft finish.
