Caligula, notre Double IPA aux houblons Citra et Nelson Sauvin. Bien aromatique, avec une texture crémeuse, cette DIPA est facile (trop?) à boire.

Draft @ Kaffee Bazaar, Ieper. Pours an attractively opaque glowing yellow with a good white head. Aroma of ripened sweet exotic pulp, continuing to taste alongside a smooth, full bodied palate. Great hop profile, very nicely presented DIPA that just hits all the right notes.

Nice robust beer. Very full, strikes a nice balance between soft and sharp. Also comes across quite unique in a flooded space. Beertemple ams

473ml can. Murky, yellow-ish, dark golden colour with average to huge, thick, dense, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, white head; substantial lacings. Citrusy fruity and slightly vinous fruity, hoppy aroma, oaty and slightly wheaty malty background, notes of lemon and white grapes, hints of gooseberry, kiwi fruit, a touch of yuzu and lime. Taste is citrusy and slightly vinous fruity hoppy, sweet-ish, oaty and wheaty malty basis, very mild hop bitterness, some fruity tartness, notes of lemon, kiwi fruit, white grapes, some gooseberry, a touch of grape sugar; some more bitterness in the finish. Creamy texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously slightly dry palate, medium to fine, dense, almost creamy, mildly prickly carbonation. Harmonious and balanced, homogenous, focussed - great!

(473ml fresh can shared by Luc on Nov 12/19, thanks a ton!) Pours moderatelly hazy pale orange with a thick white head and lace. Notes of sweet pungent mango flesh, peach, tangerine, papaya, white grape, fresh grass and light weed, rather sweet and quite juicy with pretty clean malt carrying a light biscuit character. Finish is off-dry, quite fruity with persistent mango and some fresh grassy Nelson, light bitterness and no alcohol or hop burn presence. A really nice highly drinkable DIPA with no rough edges and a nice hop profile.
