Part of my second flight on the deck of the brewpub ; 13th August 2025. Their attempt at producing a Guinness I suppose. It's fine to be honest, dry-ish in nature with a malty front and fairly weak watery body depth. Scored objectively as this was not a favourite of mine.

473 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with large fizzy head that settles quickly. Aromas of roasted malts. Flavors of watery roasted malts and a bit of nutty chocolate

On tap at Sooke Oceanside, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is authentic, with a touch of briney tartness, and light toasted malt. Flavour is drier, with just a lot of bitter toasted malt. Easy drinking and a bit bitter finish. Not bad.

Dark roast. Deep brown black with a nice white head. Dark roast and a touch of coffee roast. Dry and decent with a long bitter finish.
