A deep dark IPA with a thick frothy lacing mocha head. In aroma, nice chocolate malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, herbaceous character, nice and smooth. In mouth , a nice chocolate malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light coffee, nice and smooth. Bottle at OttBottShare Dec 2019.

Okay coffee and barley aroma, soft brown body and beige head. Flavoyr is tar with roasted barley notes and herbal tea. Okay but seems disjointed.

Dark brown, with a medium head. Strong minty, with a touch of dark malts. Light body, and fair amount of bitterness, lots of chocolate. It’s not bad.

650mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown / black with a small beige head. Aroma is quite harsh, with licorice, harsh roast, and abrasive hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with abrasive hops, harsh roast, and some licorice. Harsh hops and bitter roast. Not so expertly made. Meh.

Bottle from High Point, Vancouver
Black colour with large beige head. Roasted malt aroma, metallic, light smoke, ashes. Smooth, dry, heavily roasted, maybe a bit metallic, nice smoke, but also too bitter (chicory) in the finish.
Not too bad.
