Bottle, Sainsburys, Upton..Poured a deep dark brown with a medium dissipating beige head. Aroma was choctastic malts. Flava was more dark choc and roasted coffee bean with a berryish hint. Pretty fragrant with a dryish finish. Good effort.

500ml bottle from Sainsburys, Bracknell. Dark reddish brown, with a trace of tan head, cherry red when held to the light; roasted chocolate malt aroma; rather thin body and coffee flavour with a dry coffee finish. Rather lacking in depth and complexity.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Near black, opaque with some hints of red and a decent tan head. Roasted malt and dark chocolate aroma. Flavours of coffee, chocolate and more roastiness, before a short dry finish. Enjoyable, but not a stand out.

500ml Bottle - Very dark brown, almost black with a large and foamy tan head. Roasted aroma with malt, chocolate, coffee and some light smoked notes. Smooth taste with some nice roasted notes with coffee and plain chocolate. The coffee and chocolate notes can also be detected in the finish although much more subtly. Enjoyable stuff.
