750ml bottle. Minimally milky, dark amber colour with ruby shimmer and average to huge, frothy, slowly diminishing, minimally lacing, off-white head. Mellow malty and spicy, slightly yeasty fruity aroma, hints of red berries, some cardamom and coriander, aniseed, caramel. Taste is minimally soapy spicy, sweet-ish, caramel malty basis, weak yeasty fruity overtones, hints of ginger, cardamom, aniseed, a touch of red berries.
Minimally oily, dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy palate, medium to fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation.
Well crafted, sufficienty balanced and harmonious - OK.

Backlog June 2019. Clear, deep golden body under a big, foamy off-white head. Aroma is slightly perfumed with herbs. Taste is sweet with light caramel, low bitterness and distinct fennel. Medium body and same aftertaste. Decent.

0,5l bottle from the brewery. F: huge, tan, creamy long lasting. C: coppery, almost clear. A: bit red berries, herbal, leaves, caramel touch, bit nutty. T: medium malty base, light herbal almost mint touch, caramel, toast, bit red berries, spicy, soft carbonation, very nice balanced for this a bit boring style, fully enjoyed.

KØLF 140619. Amber color with a beige head. Aroma is yeast, herbs, licorice. Flavor is yeast, herbs, licorice, fennikel, berries, fruit. A little bit weird beer.

Touch of anise and toffee. Cloudy Amber with rich beige head. Anise and some nice soft malts with a bit of perfume.

500 ml bottle, as Maddam Jardins du Prieuré Ambrée Bio, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6%. Deep red to reddish brown colour, huge off-white head. Malty and vinous interesting aroma, notes of red wine and dark berries, some caramel and spices. The flavour is malty but not too sweet, with mild spices, caramel and vinous hints. Moderate hops. Unusual and interesting beer.
