On tap at Brewhall, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings light caramel, bready malt and subtle English hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with bready malt and toasted caramel. Not much hop content, finishing very caramely. Not bad but it's a pretty flimsy beer.

Slight haze, thin head. Chewy aroma. Meh... oxidized, chewy...light body. So all the awesome stuff about English ale like juiciness, awesome and diverse yeast, complex and non-chewy malt bill...yeah no. Like not a single one of what English beer is good for.

Woody and earthy. Clear copper with a decent white head. Nice twig and a light bitterness. Bone dry.

Nice softly cloudy copper body and a bit of yellowish white foam. Smells well of sofy malt and sharpish hops. Flavour is good bitter malts on a mellow level, crusty and chewy. Medium finish. Very nice, very good for a new world bitter.
