On tap. Pours a dull amber with moderate head. Aromas of bready malts. Flavors are pretty much the same with maybe a hint of citrus. I guess a Saison can be anything but I can’t really get anything from this but a malty tap beer.

Poured from the tap. Clear-ish gold with small white head. Mild citrusy saison yeast with some spices and light floral hopping.

On tap at East Van, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright saison yeast, with citrus and some toasted biscuity malt. Flavour expresses the saison yeast fairly nicely, with a bright citrus character and a crisp toasted malt backbone. Pretty good for a style that is not executed too well on this side of the Atlantic. Solid.

Feet and some funk. Clearish gold with a decent white head. Light grains, little feet notes and a light finish.

On tap at the brewer with the 80's tunes blaring. Has a bright orange body with some modest carbonation. Smells of grainy hops, sharp but weak, more hops and grains. Flavour is mostly grain with some lemon. Soft finish on the mouthfeel. Okay saison, not too interesting though for those not accustomed to the style it could be all right.

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy blond colour with creamy head. The aroma is mildly funky, spicy, coriander. The mouthfeel is dry, strong yeast character, spicy and a bit vegetable, increasing the butter feeling.
A bit rough but ok.
