Can Liz brought back from the brewery. Pours clear copper with a moderate white head. Aroma is citrus/pine with an equal amount of tropicals. Med body or better. Flavor is dry and bitter. The spelt shows through. Citrus/pine and tropicals. Nice flavor.

Mostly clear golden and bright copper coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall off-white head that fades slowly. Aroma of oranges, deep grapefruit peel, some resin and a dash of pine - very hoppy in the nose and quite bitter smelling. Medium-bodied; Rich orangey and grapefruity flavours dominate with a lot of hop bitterness with a nice sweetness along with some herbal and floral components along with a light sweetness and hay note, but the oranges bring out very robust citrusey flavours, especially at the end. Aftertaste shows some great robust bitterness, all from the citrusey hops with a lot of dryness as well, from the malts with a light sweetness at the end - very nice and robust throughout. Overall, a very nice IPA with a good bitterness, a solid malt backbone and some light sweetness, but balanced throughout and still full-of-flavour. Great to have, especially super fresh and local from the source!Β I sampled this sixteen ounce pint-sized can purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey onΒ 26-November-2022, canned on 23-June-2022 and sampled on the train back home from New York with my wife and kids on 04-December-2022.Β

Sampled from the tap at Edmonds Oktoberfest. Pours a clear gold with a peach hue with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of grass and light pine with a slightly sweet hay backing. Flavor has grass and light pine with straw and hay supporting.

Slight haze. thin head. Nice fruity, grapefruity hop aroma. Big thick grainy character, the hops are a bit overripe and all told it's quite fruity.

Draught @ Taphouse Grill, Seattle, WA. Pours clear orange with a smooth head. Aroma of sweet caramely malts, toffee, resin and chewy candy. Taste is sweet, sticky and stuffy with some caramely maltiness and loads of toffee. Finish is sweet, sticky and slightly tartish with some bitterness, toffee, pine and resin. Feels a bit off and messy.

Draught at The Local, Bellingham, WA; 9.5% ABV
Golden color, clean. The hop has a light animal character. It doesnβt combine well with the grainy cereal flavor; moderately sweet, caramel flavor, with resiny and orangey character.
Hard beer, not very drinkable.

On tap at Elizabeth Station, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is extremely dry and grainy, with notes of buckwheat and dry hopping. Flavour is very grainy, dry and bitter, with notes of roasted / burnt grain and dry hopping. Pretty impressive for a gluten free double IPA, but as a regular double IPA, it's not so enjoyable. Decent.
