This is our special ale from the brewers at Anchor. It is sold only from early November to mid-January. The Ale’s recipe is different every year, but the intent with which we offer it remains the same: joy and celebration of the newness of life. Since ancient times, trees have symbolized the winter solstice when the earth, with its seasons appears born anew.

2020 vintage bottle, 'The Three Graces' label, at Lambic tap room, Alcalá de Henares. A very dark brown, almost black; thick as treacle, with a super-rocky tawny head. Aroma is sweet black fruits: plums, bilberries, mulberries, grapes... Mouth is slick, sweetish to sweet, full-bodied, medium to low-crisp. Medium bitter, long-lasting finish. Classic winter warmer.

🇫🇷 2-0 🇲🇦. The Moroccan fairytale has ended. The French opened the scoring early (5th min), but the Moroccans kept fighting, had some chances, but failed to take them. The French got a second goal late, and are heading back to the World Cup Final.
