A humble tribute to American IPAs, this one is particularly strong and hoppy. American and Australian hops, first wort hopping and dry hopping: a bomb of hops, and aromas, because too much is just enough!

It is a decent IPA, copper color, thin foam, average carbonation, hop, cereal, bitterness, alcohol, overall well balanced, 22.08.16, tasting it at Lausanne, Prélaz, buying it at the bio carrefour, next to Paris Gare de Lyon.

0.33 l bottle shared with Višnja 666 and Pilot Goran, thanks. Hazy dark golden, small off-white head. Very lightly hoppy, bad shape? Fruit, malts. No hops.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Hazy dark russet colour lasting beige head. Toffeeish in the mouth. Some decent hop on the finish. A little vegetal on aroma. HIdes ABV well. Just about ok.

bottle, huge thanks to jaghana! Golden with a white head and an alluring hoppy nose. Full-bodied, intensive malty base delivering loads of resiny and fruity hops. Tropical fruit is dominant, a resiny touch also very pleasant. Well balanced.

Thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, huge head. Starts intense hoppy, grasy, some sourish-soapy notes. Bitter background. Fruity notes of grapefruit, some lemon. Dry-hoppy finish. I liked it!

Cave a bulles, Paris: Pours copper. Aroma is malty with some fruit and plenty of herbs. Taste is sweet with a boozy aftertaste. Not very bitter, but doesn’t fail to have sufficient hops. Not bad, but the booze is off-putting occasionally. Herbal, medicinal finish. Needs work.

Dark coppery color wiht an off-white head with good duration. Aroma has notes of resins hops, with good maltiness and some fruity notes. Flavor with notes of resins, peaches, orange peel. and slightly citrus. Mild bitterness in the final with medium duration.

Bottle at home, 2nd August 2013. Good scent, nothing too complex though. Pours nice and clear, neat head. Taste is hoppy, alcohol well hidden, good malt comes through. Good American style DiPA

Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav’s place. Thanks avrashi. Murky dark orange-amber. Aroma of stale hops with a bit of floral notes and biscuity malt. Flavor of biscuity and caramelly malt and stale hops bitterness. Medium-bodied. OK but too old.

33cl bottle, BB? can’t read the torn label. Label which by the way is a clear inspiration from Flying Dog’s labels.
