500 ml bottle. Overflow on opening. Pours brown with full head that settles into a mucky mess. Aromas of creamy malts, metal, and vegetables. Flavors follow. I guess this could be called an old ale when process and quality were ad hoc. No evidence of base or barrel. A mess but not a drain pour. Aging is not making it better.

Good foam on a murky brownish orange body. Smells of hay, mulch, yeasty biscuit, burnt custard, burlap sacks. Flavour is sweet boozy maltiness, soft wood hints, some custard sweetness. Full mouthfeel, very smooth. A little boozy but still very well done.

Dark amber colour. There's some smell of vegetables and caramel. The body is thin compared to expectations, evident alcohol, some caramel, light vegetables.
I'm not sure what I'm drinking, but it's not very good.

Soured yeasty malts. Cloudy copper with a small beige head. Earthy and malty with a decent finish. A bit Starchy.

Hazy and light tan. No head. Light tartness, some cherries, light stone fruits. On the palate, has a dark sour thing going on, like a bit of berries, bit of barrel. Just a slight tartness in the finish. Maybe a bit husky, and I'm not convinced all the complexity has developed here.

330mL bottle, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted bready malt, caramel, and farmhouse notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with some funky farmhouse notes, toasted bready malts, and a hint of caramel. This is nothing close to an old ale -- just a pleasant, earthy, farmhouse ale that is a bit puzzling. Okay.
