Pale and hazy. Tart, with a fair bit of barrel character and stone fruit on the nose. Tart, light acidity on the palate, again with pretty nice stone fruit.

Bottle pour at Farmhouse Fest 2024. Pours murky yellow with a white head. Aroma has Brett, old wood. Flavour is bitter and sour, some rubbery bitterness.

Sour, somewhat sweet, fruity. Peach and other stone fruit, lime, musty and soft. Nice.

375ml from Khoury's in Hendo. Month in the fridge. Mojito glass at home. Clear if a touch jellied. Medium gold, tall frothy head, active body. Floral, dank, sweet apricot, Brett nose. Bittersweet, strong orange pith, really heavy oak, lemon, thyme, grass, almond, powdered sugar, peachy finish with moderate astringency. Missing that last note. Frothy, moderate acid, light tartness, in check abv. A bit heavy handed but lots of the flavors & feels I expected. Good.

Shared with Farees. Appearance: murky straw with a white head. Aroma: nice funk, bold, some minerals. Reminds lambics for sure. Taste: not as good as aroma, quite bitter (from Brett and/or hops?), still bold, but not as complex. Overall: ok. Good try, but requires some work for sure.
De garde still got the delicious cheesy Tillamook funk going on, sad to see this small format but whatever works for tavour shipping. Deeply rustic farmy funk, lemony flavor, dry pithy cheesy finish.

Grapefruit, probably a little of the plastic nimbleprop mentioned, though I like it a little more than he appears to have. Oak hangs out with you for a while in the end, comes off pretty sharp. Golden pour with OK head. Lots of sourness, some astringency in the finish. Unripe orange. Tap at Dominion Wine and Beer.

Sample at the roost pours a clear burnt gold with some white head. Nose has lemon rind, funk, neutral barrel. A little plastic. You can tell it's new world. Flavor nears authentic but there is a residual sweetness that isn't right and doesn't even remind of Boon. Sourness and funk are both dialed back. Some bandaid but whelming at best. Finishes medium bodied, lightly creamy and the malt oddly shows up. Weird. Maybe bottle treatments are better?
