Bottle pour at Avery Invitational 2019. Black with bit brownish head. Chocolate, cocoa, mint, some bourbon, soft texture. Medium sweetness. Medium to full bodied. No a fan of mint, but this was well executed.

Tasting at Matt's
Black colour; it has scary floaties. Nice chocolate aroma with a touch of peppermint, fresh feeling. Full bodied, sweet, thick, with very good dark chocolate flavour; some mint.
The Imperial Stout base is excellent, the peppermint doesn't improve it, the opposite, but it takes it into a funny direction. I may like it more than the 38-points note

Minty chocolate. Jet brown with almost no head. Sweet chocolate and peppermint and heat. Not bad I have had better in the style.

12 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with peppermint upfront, with a touch of cocoa and light bourbon. Flavour is loaded with peppermint covered chocolate upfront, accentuated by bourbon barrels, and a hint of roast. I really don't like peppermint, but this is tastefully done.

Bottled November 12th 2018.
Pours a pitch black with an initial head of tan foam. The foam went away leaving no lacing.
The smell is about the equal of Bourbon and mint. Got lamb? Lol.
Taste is sweet, big Bourbon notes, bigger notes of mint, boozy yet not something that you can put down cuz it's overwhelming. It does come close. 14.5% can be a deterrent...
Not quite full bodied, carbonation is on the lower side.

Bottle - surprisingly smooth and non-cloying for the strength - a lot of bourbon character without being overly boozy - deep chocolate flavors, moderate peppermint - oak, vanilla, Bourbon - it's pretty tasty, really.
