Brewed in collaboration with Sooke Brewing Co., SEXTUPLE! is an abbey tripel that we hopped like a Double IPA. We used abundant amounts of Motueka hops from New Zealand, Ella hops from Australia, and Tettnanger hops from Germany both in the kettle and the whirlpool.

Nice white foam and clear light gold body. Good Belgian yeast and strong hops on the nose. Flavour is mellow hops with some juiciness. Mouthfeel is okay but could be fuller. Drinkable though not too exciting.

On tap. Pours a hazy amber with full head. Aromas of tropical fruit and orange juice. Strong flavors of same with lots of lupilin powder. Didn’t really get any Belgian yeast.

2019-02-07, tasting at Matt's, can, 7-4-8-4-16=39
The aroma is mainly citrus hops and Belgian yeast. Nice yeast flavour too, sweetish, and good citrusy hopping.
Very good.

Hazy golden colour. The base Is likely muffled by the hops, but there seem to be a very good Tripel; it's mildly floral and earthy in the aroma; the mouthfeel is rather dry, helping the drinkability, the hopping provides strong notes of candied orange, flowers, almonds. Warming alcohol.
Very good.

473mL can, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of floral hops, Belgian yeast, some pine, and biscuity malt. Flavour has a lot of Belgian yeast upfront, with dry floral hops, piney, and fruity esters. Floral, fruity, and yeasty. The marriage of the Belgian yeast and hops works wonderfully. Excellent.

Draught, Alibi. Light amber. Sort of dull, just a slight haze, and a thin head. Has a nice gooseberryish sort of hop. This also has a decent hop bitterness, light plastic phenols - but just light. Malts have a very slight biscuity note. Aside from the bitterness, the hops aren't all that prominent, which leaves it lacking due to the phenols, but all told it's not a bad beer.
