Cask@Baring Hall Hotel, London - murky dark brown to black pour with small white head. Roasted dark malty, some choc, coffee, slight burned notes, great condition, lovely. ---Sent via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Deep amber, olmost black with a brown head - Good malt aroa Nice malt body with hints of roasted malt and olso a nice bitterness - Roasted malt bitterness lingers for some time in the finish - This was nice

Svart med beige skum. Lukter kaffe, sjokolade, humle og malt. Noe besk i smak og har forøvrig masse smak. kaffe, stenfrukt.. og har fin bitter ettersmak. Ble overrasket over denne ift. alkoholinnhold på kun 4 prosent.

Re-rate from a bottle from Oddbins. Much more generous on nose, taste and overall enjoyment this time. Previous rating on cask at the Stockbridge Tap on26/02/14 = 6+4+6+3+13 = 3.2 On cask at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - dark amber into chestnut. Nice head. Nose - toffee and ginger spice. Some biscuits. Taste - more spicy ginger with a toasty backbone. Palate - medium bodied with a crunchy texture and a fairly fresh finish considering the style. Overall - a solid mild.

Mørk rødbrun klar med beige tykt skum. Karamellukt. Salt og bitter smak, kjenner også brent eller ristet malt i smaken. Ganske kort ettersmak, medium kullsyre.

Flaska från SB. Fina rostade lite söta aromer. Mörk bröd, chokladkola, torkad frukt, kaffe, svarta vinbär. Lätt kropp men mycket smak, väldigt bra balans, lätt rostad bitter eftersmak som dör relativt snabbt. Stor öl i litet format, fantastisk maltbas med stora smaker. Lite Caskkaraktär. En bra mild och riktigt gott.

Bottled. A deepmred beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of phenols, malt, caramel, and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of phenols, caramel, and fruits, leading to a dry finish. A bit off.

clear brown, smooth light brown head. mild aroma ,faint nuts, faint alc. flavor is malty, bitter spices, hard roasted almost burnt malts, quite flavorfull.

50 cl bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a huge off white head. Aroma is roasted malty. Roasted, liqourice and breadish. Caramelish and roasted. Solid hoppy and light fruity. Bitter and roasted malty finish.

Aroma: Fruity, roasty and a bit vinous.
Palate: Medium body. Tad sweet, and a fine bitterness. Average carbonation.
