BB 16.11.2014, 0,5L bottle. Pours clear very dark amber, almost black with nice light tan head. The head stays. Aroma: sourness, dryness, hints of chocolate, caramel. Taste: malt, burnt coffee, dark chocolate, sourness in the background, maybe even some spices. Burnt coffee bitter finish. It is very creamy. Overall: hides 4% ABV really well, but otherwise just good, but not great.

Clear dark red - amber beer. Tidy pale cream coloured head. Palate is light, crisp and a little dry. Super light malts, minerals. Vague dark fruits. Dry finish. Mmm it’s all a bit bland and non-descript. I expect more of this brewery now.

Hamilton Hall Spoons. Cask. Clear dark amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and slightly soft. Mild fine carbonation. Smooth malt with very light and dry sweet cream. Underneath is a woody toffee bitterness. English hop bitterness before the light dry finish. All right.

Bottle thanks to Fergus, enjoyed in Watford. It pours dakest brown with a small beige head. The nose is toasty, caramel, earth, raisin and cherry cola. The taste is toast, light roast, cocoa, biscuit, berry, Vimto and raisin with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Smooth, well-rounded and very drinkable.

Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell, nötter, örter, rostade toner med aningar av kaffe och choklad. Lätt kropp, lagom sötma med en tydlig bitter beska.
