NERAX North cask festival. 11/16/2013. Color is dark ruby with dark brown in the center. Nose is herbal with caramel and hints of coffee. Flavor is malt dominant and real Earthy. Nuts, caramel, traces of coffee and again the herbal notes are large in the finish. Medium body with soft carbonation. Really tremendous job for the low 4 ABV. A session beer with some real flavor. Well made.

500ml bottle from Oddbins London Bridge drunk at home. Very very dark brown beer with lasting dark beige rocky head. Funny there is a slightly herby edge to the choccy mild feel. The beer is good. A really good dark beer. Drunk as England won the Ashes at Durham on 12 August 2013. What an evening. Broad was amazing. Good beer too.
