Kind of an ugly haze, medium head. Soft body, light fruity note. Not as bitter as I was expecting but that’s okay because it’s balanced.

A hazed golden amber ipa with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, light cereals, pleasant. In mouth, biscuit malt with harsh herbal piney hops, grapefruit, a bit unbalanced.

Deep Gold body with modest head, sweet vegetal hops on the nose with what seems to be some spiciness, earthiness, orange zest maybe. Flavour is a deep sweet caramel orange mix. Crisp on the mouth, good oiliness. An odd mix, not bright at all for an IPA but still drinkable.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver; canned 110419, 2 months old
Hazy light amber colour with compact head. Mild aroma of crystal malt and apricot; bread. Lean mouthfeel with light residual sweetness; mild bready malt base, a bit husky; candied orange from the hop.
Old style, but not too oppressive; the hops are not very bright. Pleasant,

On tap at Citizen, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright piney hops upfront, with crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is bright, with fresh piney hops upfront, gentle resinous sweetness, and crisp biscuity malt. Piney and resinous finish. Excellent.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy orange-amber with a medium, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves plenty of lace. Aroma of bready caramel malt, orange peel, grapefruit and piney hops. Sweet flavour of cracker malt, orange peel, grapefruit, peach, muddled tropical fruit and pine with a dry, bitter, spicy hop finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Tasty.
