Pours black with a very slight tan head. Aroma of raspberry with dark malt. Taste has bitter chocolate elements, raspberry and hops. Palate is dominated by burnt hop notes, alcohol burn. Hard to drink.

Bottle, 355 ml, courtesy of Max. Shared with him and JFK10000. Black with beige head. Nice chocolate, roasted, raspberry, some wood, sweet with nice fruity tartness. Medium to full bodied. Balanced.

Intense dark chocolate and rich raspberry. Cloudy brown with a ton of floaties. Raspberry and chocolate with a sticky sweet long finish. Deep and decadent.

Dark brown. The aroma is raspberry, chocolate and a lot of dark malt. On the palate, quite sweet, a lot of chocolate, syrupy and milky, with a nice raspberry accent. Maybe a touch of truffle. Solid dessert stuff.

12 oz. bottle, pours black with a tiny tan head. Aroma brings out lots of decadent raspberry upfront, followed by a touch of cocoa and some bourbon. Flavour is decadent, with treacly raspberries upfront, followed by bourbon, and cocoa. Rich, sweet (but not close to decadent), with a wonderful raspberry character. Wonderful.

355ml bottle from Mr. B's, Denver, CO. Sweet, heavy with raspberry juice notes, slightly roasty and syrupy with some bourbon, chocolate, coffee, cocoa and oak notes. Complex and sweet dessert.

$8 for a 16 ounce Prowler.

Pours a really dark brown or even black. Small short lived head of tan foam, no lacing to speak of.

Big aromas of chocolate, raspberries of the sweet kind, pinch of tart raspberries, more of the heavenly smelling chocolate, both sweet and bitter..mostly of the former.

Chocolate and raspberries up front adding both sweet and tart notes, some goodness from the barrel, toffee, some mild alcohol. Really brilliant flavours hitting my palate.

Light side of medium bodied, carbonation is very light.

Such a dessert beer!
