Slight haze. A little bit cheesy on the nose, but a lot cheesy on the palate. Just cheap imitation parmesan. It's an odd character, and not particularly pleasant, nor fitting with the style this was described as.

Fruity and funky brett notes. Clear gold with a decent white head. Funky feet and sweat with a long finish.

On tap at Darby's Gastown, pours a clear pale copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of feet and BO, earthy notes and a touch of funk. Flavour isn't much better, being dominated by the feet, musty funk, and earthiness. This is rather unpleasant. Not good.

Draught at Darby's Gastown, Vancouver
Hazy to cloudy dark blond colour. A bit smelly, footy. Soft mouthfeel, strong dough-y flavour, overwhelming.
Maybe an old keg, on tap for too long. Not good.

Taster at Darby's Gastown. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is some sour and sweet fruits with some malty notes. Similar taste. Bretts? Did not find any. It's ok.

Bottle at the tap room. Pours hazy gold with a white head and champagne bubbles. Aroma of oak and slightly, slightly sour Brett with some fruit - including grapes, IMHO. Med body. Flavor is oaky/astringent/Brett/grape/fruit and something herb/herb related. Quite tasty. For me it’s as enticing as something from gin barrels - well not quite, but somewhat. Really great ale.
