65 cl bottle @ Antitasting Aroma has sweet liquor tones, plastic glue and pear esthers. Flavour has plastic glue, malty notes, pear esthers and alcohol. Not your typical eisbock.

Wow, has this gone downhill, and the barrel aging hasn't helped. No head retention and the primary flavours are harsh alcohol heat and wood. Drain pour for me

650 ml bottle. Pours a clear dark brown with light head. Aromas of perfumey bourbon, sugary toffee, wood and chocolate. Flavors of caramel, sweet bourbon, bready malts, milk chocolate and a little nuts. Very nice barrel effect - without overkill

650mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is loaded upfront with bourbon barrels, followed by toasted nuts and bready caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with more subdued bourbon barrles, toasted nuts, caramel, and bready malt. There's also some tartness in there. The barrels are nicely dominant, without being too assertive. Good stuff.

Malty with some barrel notes. Deep dark brown with a small beige head. Dark sweet malty notes and a reasonable finish.

Dark brown colour. Solid Bock with moderate malt and caramel flavour, moderately sweet, not as deep as Eisbocks, and with just light bourbon notes.
Clean, unimpressive, but a good beer overall.

22oz bottle from The Gull at Alex's. Pours a hazy brown with a beige head. Aroma is some green apples, fruitiness, and creamy notes. Taste is similar. Not excellent but at least it is not offensive.
