Flight at brewery. Pours black with tan head. Aroma has a lot of toasted malt with a bit of chocolate and vanilla. Flavour is quite light, mostly roasted malt with a bit of espresso and vanilla. It's fine.

Black, lasting tan head. Light dry nose. Somewhat dry bitter roast profile. Decent as are most of their offerings

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a dark brown with an amber tinge and small beige head. Aroma is fairly faded, with earthy notes and toasted malt. Flavour is quite muted, with dry earthy notes and light toasted malt. Not much to this. Lame.

On tap at the brewer as a part of a cross taster. Has okay black body and a hint of foam. Aroma is lots of sweet barley. Flavour is heavy sweet sharp barley and kind of a bright caramel. Sharp finish though could be fuller on the mouthfeel. Not bad at all and a nice darker attempt locally.

Draught at the brewery
Black colour, tan head. Roasted malts, rather than chocolate, some liquorice (that shouldn't have place here), very dry, a bit metallic, but also some dark malt quality.
Good enough for hunters of roasted beers, not the most impressive Porter.
