On tap. Pours a very dark brown with moderate head. Aromas of sweet vanilla, dark caramel, chocolate and glazed donuts. Flavors follow with nutty chocolate pastry and roasted malts. The nuts add a bitterness that doesn’t really complement the sweet pastry stout this should be.

Can, Legacy. Dark brown, with a thin head. On the nose, this is actually quite chocolatey, with a bit of vanilla. On the palate, it has a relatively full, sugary, creamy body. There's a good depth of roasted, chocolatey dark malts here, along with a respectable amount of bitterness for a pastry stout. Still, there's a touch of vanilla sweetness in the finish that helps to round this out, along with just a hint of alcohol. Honestly, this doesn't taste much like any cannolo I've ever had, but yet there's still a bit of that pastry stout character intact, and a rich stout base. I'm digging this. Can't believe they wrote "cannolis" on the ingredient list, though.

473mL can, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma is quite sweet and adjunct-heavy, with coconut, hazelnuts, cocoa and vanilla, with a touch of toasted malt. Flavour is along the same line, with lots of coconut, vanilla, toasted nuts, and toasted malt. Rich, robust, sweet but not cloying, and well-rounded. Excellent.

Can - Pastry and chocolate on the nose with a touch of nut. Deep brown with a small white head. Dark chocolate, nutty and some light pastry. Not bad.

Tall can from Strathcona shared with Jonathan and Andrey. Pours a dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is cannoli, haha with lots of chocolate and sweetness. Taste is similar with moderate sweetness. Very nice for what it is.

Draught at Strathcona, Vancouver
Black colour. Very nice aroma, chocolate bar. The flavour too seems to focus on the chocolate, it's lean but also moderately sweet, some vanilla.
I hope no cannolo was harmed in making this beer.
