(473ml can from Sardines, Quebec City) Pours hazy bright yellow-gold with an average white cap and light lace. Notes of bright mango, fresh leaves, subtle weed, melon, orange and whtie grapefruit, with a light crackery malt base that contributes subtle sweetness and some cereals in the low to moderate bitterness leafy dank Mosaic-driven finish that carries a little mango and citrus peels into the aftertaste. Medium bodied with average plus carbonation and a smooth oaty mouthfeel. Nice one, not as expressive as their DIPAs or Bank Hotel but happy to finally try a HYPA can.

This has a cloudy yellow appearance, without much head. Light spiciness on the aroma, has a bit of a thick malt. It’s fairly sweet and I do like the spiciness in the finish.

Cloudy to murky pale yellow colour. Nice aroma, sweet citrus, touch of peach. A bit chalky, dry mouthfeel, with mild juicy character, orange, and a bit more bitterness than the HYPA III and IV just tasted. Better aroma of the three.
Good.

473mL can, pours an opaque cloudy, milky yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very yeasty, with plenty of dank hops, lots of pithy stone fruits, and heaps of yeast soup. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of yeast soup, assertively dank hops, and lots of stone fruit pithiness. Pithy, yeasty, and dank - at least too much yeast. It's solid.
