750ml bottle. Cloudy, brown colour with small, frothy, fading, off-white head. Sweet-ish, sugary, fruity, minimally alcoholic aroma, notes of dried fruit, raisin, sultana, date, fig, plum, some rock sugar, caramel. Taste is sweet fruity, caramel and minimally toasty malty, BA addendum, notes of dried fruit, raisin, sultana, a touch of fig, notes of caramel, a touch of rock sugar, bourbon, vanilla; boozy, minimally ardent, warming finish. Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft palate, tacky palate, soft to flat carbonation. Too heavy and not drinkable enough to call it a nice sipper. Doesn't make you go for the next sip, rather ponder about the last - and temporize before having the next. Not that bitchin'.

Bottle. A- Cranberry juice, oak, subtle whiskey, very subtle smoke. A- Red brown color, clear liquid, minimal tan head. T- Oak, whiskey, cranberry, cherry, subtle smoked malt. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, complex finish. O- For being a 2.5 year old Quad I was shocked with how fruity and effervescent this beer was. Really easy to drink for 12% too. Quite tasty. I could drink a ton of this.
