Gold pour and fairly clear. Decent sized white head. Nose is rich smoke more than I expected. Tastes of rich smoke, biscuits, pale malt some yeasty tones. Overall savory feel to it. Lighter bodied but with richness in flavor. Quite good

16 oz can poured. Clean golden appearance, lasting head. Really enjoy this style, and can count on these guys to make one happen for local distro. Crisp flavor, bold campfire smoke without an overpowering element. Easy drinking lager with long lasting peaty flavor. Awesome.

Golden colour, hazy, with steady head. The aroma is intriguing, delicately smokey, bready, lovely malt. The flavour seems less crispy and more oily than 2 months ago, still good malt flavour, delicate smoke, and grassy hops.
Excellent.

Hazy blond colour. Excellent aroma, bread, malt, delicate smoke. Bready and crisp base, lovely malts, quite strong smoke, biscuits, getting more astringent in the finish.
Wonderful.

Tall can at Erik's. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Aroma is malty with smoky notes. Taste is similar. Great for what it is, but, unfortunately, I am not a fan of the style.

Bright golden colour. On the nose, this has an abundant pale malt character, and then there's a lot of smoked malt. This has a big pale malt character - helles dominant, with a mellow smoked malt character. I take the smoked malt more as an accent, but it's slightly bigger than that implies, but it doesn't have, say, the richness you'd get in a bigger rauchbier. Nice interpretation - quite different from any other smoked helles I've had.

16 oz. can, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head Aroma brings out lots of firepit smoke, with some ash, and light smoked meat. Flavour is along the same lines, with firepit smoke, light smoked meat, and cereal malt. Very pleasant smokiness, with a fairly light body. Very good.

Draft - Sweet Soft Smoke. Clear gold with a small white head. Soft smoke, manure and a light bitterness. Pretty solid for the style.
