The new indigenous Sockeye hop is richly spicy and slightly floral, showcased in this delicious amber ale. A truly BC beer. Fish like to drink too! Note: Sockeye is a proprietary hop developed by Crannog/Left Field.

Draft @ Darby’s. Hazy amber, fruity amber ale, moderately sweet, and a nice balance. I like this hop.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy dark amber color with creamy beige head. Light malt aroma. The flavor seems at first biscuity, but it becomes rapidly a bit buttery, with light vegetables notes in the final, nutty, with strong bitterness.
A typical Amber Ale, that explains all.

On tap. Pours an orange/brown with moderate retentive head. Aromas of toasted malts and bread. Flavors are all malts - where’s the hops? Ok some late bitterness. Really simple.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a cloudy orange amber with a small white head. Aroma is very dry and bready, with heavy dry maltiness showing. Flavour is very dry, with boiled vegetables and bone dry bready malt. The vegetal off-notes don't make this very pleasant, but it's not a disaster. Not great.
