Bottle from the brewery. Hazy golden pour, with a large white head. Funk lemon rind Aroma, with light earthy rosemary, save and hints of citrus oil. Mouth feel is crisp, carb is lively. Finish is refreshing and dry. Herbal, citrusy, lemony, and earthy. Light tropical notes, sage lingers, light pepper.

Bottle: Poured a slightly hazy golden color ale with a large foamy head with OK retention and limited lacing. Aroma of tart notes with some light oak and light herbal notes. Taste is also a mix of tart notes with some oak notes, light funky notes with some light herbal notes with subtle rosemary notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable but I was expecting more prominent notes of rosemary and sage.

Tasting at Matt's
Pale blond colour, cloudy. Smells herbal, lemongrass, maybe sage, soap. Dry mouthfeel, moderately acidic, herbal, with sharp finish, funky, astringent.
Rosemary and sage shouldn't belong to contemporary beer.

375mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma is very spicy, with loads of rosemary and sage, with a touch of oak and rustic saison yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, with rosemary and sage upfront, followed by saison yeast, oak and tart citrus. Lots of rosemary and sage on the finish. Interesting stuff.

375ml bottle (thx, Eric D.!) at Matt's. Pours a hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma is lots of rosemary and sage. Taste is similar with low sweetness. A bit dry. Pleasant.

Bottle - Peppery and perfumy Belgian yeast notes. Cloudy dirty gold with a decent white head. Bitter, herbal and peppery notes. Not a fan.

Light tan, touch of haze, and no head. On the nose, lots of sage and rosemary both, a bit yeasty, but on the palate it's got a fairly assertive bitterness, with a whack of rosemary. Nice yeasty note. Really assertive spices. I bit of sweet white wine notes round on the finish. I like it.
