The aroma is very soft barley of no distinction, has mellow black body and some beige foam on top. Flavour is good coffee, okay barley, nothing comes out too bright. Mouthfeel is crisp and full. This is okay but only delivering half of what I think it should be delivering.

On tap at Powell, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out light bourbon, some oak, a touch of vanilla and medium toasted malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with light bourbon, toasted malt, and a hint of oak. Low sweetness, and not a very robust stout. Pleasant flavours but not a whole lot of depth. Underwhelming.

Dark brown. Thin head. Lots of chocolatey coffee on the nose. Strong coffee taste, balanced but to the sweet side. Not bad. I guess just your basic coffee stout.

473 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with a bubbly cola like head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of plastic, roasted malts and green oak. Thin flavors roasted malts, green oak and sweetened coffee. Not much in the way of bourbon.

Can - Nice bourbon and chocolate notes. Deep jet brown with a rich light brown head. Dark roasty chocolate and some smoke but coffee is subdued. Nice.

Black colour. Big roasty Stout, dark bread, with gentle and quickly disappearing bourbon note.
Very good.

Tall can from the brewery at Alex's. Pours an almost black with a dark brown head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malt, some light fruitiness. Taste is similar with maybe slight bourbon notes. Good as a stout, meh as BBA stout.
