500mL bottle, pours a deep dark purple-ish mahogany with a small pink head. Aroma brings out light oak, with a bit of pithy blackberries. Flavour is along the same lines, with fruity pithy blackberries, light oak and some acidity. That's a lot of blackberries, with a nice dry, oaky and lightly acidic finish. Good fruitiness to it despite not a huge amount of depth. Decent.

Purple colour, pinkish-purple head. Looks nice. The berry comes across poorly on the nose, fruity yes but also that butryic note that you get from berryish beer. Has a jammy note, again some of that butryic, but then there's a lot of fruity berry note. A bit of acidity, and woody notes. Just that little note - something I seem to pick up in some fruit beers - bugs me but otherwise good brew.

Bottle at Chucks. Pretty purple color. Just one of those fruit and generic moderate acetic sour beers. Not bad, not a mess, not well articulated. Just decent fruit sour that is a bit of a makeshift beer.

500 mL bottle poured, shared by beastiefan. A dark, reddish purple, red wine like pour. Very tart grape and dark berries up front in flavor. Balsamic, but light. Wine like notes, a little heavier. Aroma is a slight vinegar, and red cherry and berries. An overall pleasant sour. A slight sweetness that seems to work well with it. Seemed to get better with each sip. Wouldn't mind running into this one again.

Purple beer with a light head. Aroma is full of sour and vinegar notes with light berries. Taste follows suit with the vinegar fading to a sharp sourness and decent fruit and berry notes. Very puckering finish. (Draught at the Silver City 20th Anniversary)
