Poured from the tap (2020 - 10th anniversary vintage). Hazy golden orange with small white head. Oak, wild yeast, mild tartness, light stone fruit. Decent, but lacks additional depth.

Nice big antique white foam and a darker gold body, plenty of small carbonation. Big wood and yeast on the nose, solid funk right there, barny in all its glory. Flavour is yeasty caramel with wood barrel notes and plenty of acidic sourness. Not as layered or as deep as some of the better ones but still pretty good and definitely drinkable.

Tasting at Erik’s
Cloudy golden colour with no head. The aroma is not too strong, initially vinous but it dissipates quickly; there are hints of acetone. Good body strength, even some residual sugar (appreciated), quite vinous, delicate malt base, some gooseberry and other juice, ending with a bit of bready character.
Quite good.

650ml bottle at Erik's. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is fruity, barrel, some slight cherries. Taste is similar with some sweet notes, cherries, slight acetone, and barrel notes. Quite good.

650mL bottle, pours a hazy golden bronze with a small white head. Aroma brings out light oak, some wild yeast, and moderately tart fruits. Flavour is somewhat complex, with a nice oaky character upfront, some wild yeast, and tart stone fruits. Nice wild yeast character, with a stone fruity finish. Pretty good, especially compared to the last trainwreck from these guys.

Light amber. Touch of chill haze. There's a lactic note, and a light fruit character. On the palate, more of a sharper lactic note, with a touch of brett towards the finish, and a mild stone fruit accent as well. Finishes with a bit of barrel to balance some of the lactic.

650 ml bottle. Pours a red/copper color with little head. Aromas of wood and vinegar. Flavors follow same - oak and balsamic vinegar with light malts. A light Oud Bruin. Reminds me of the bird of prey series.
