Can at the brewery. Dark brown. Nice fruity, toasty notes. The body isn't quite right because it's not cask, but the dark malt character is enjoyable, with that toastiness, fruitiness and a tiny bit of residual sugar.

Draught at 33 Acres
Black colour. Lean, dry, but not weak. Strong roasty and bready character. Maybe a bit yeasty.
I'm not particularly digging this, a style that is difficult to elevate (not impossible), but there is nothing wrong.

Draft - Dark roast. Jet brown with a small beige head. Dark roast, nutty, liquorice and a small amount of bitterness. Very nice.

On tap at 33 Acres, pours a hazy deep dark brown / near-black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of earthy dry cocoa, toasted malts and crusty dry bread. Flavour is similar, with earthy malt, toasted bread and a touch of dry cocoa powder. Clean and drinkable, but not particularly interesting. Good.
