Bottle 65 cl. Pours an opaque pitch black with a creamy, light brown head. Sweet and chocolatey roast aroma, quite some vanilla also. Medium body, very mellow and smooth with a ton of chocolate notes while the roast is very downplayed. Doesn’t appear all that much of an Imperial Stout though. Sweeter, smoother and more creamy than the Amager version. A delight. 290113

Bottle with the USA labeling (Chocolate Wheat Imperial Stout). The beer pours brownish-black with a medium foamy tan head that diminishes steadily. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of dark chocolate and roasty malt. Medium-bodied with a burnt malt character and flavors of bitter chocolate, coffee and a bit of brine. The finish is chocolatey with a black coffee aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
