Dry hopped double brown ale

It’s not very often a beer gets made to specifically showcase malts, but we have always liked being a little different. Good Humans is a very big and bold Brown Ale that is also dry-hopped with Simcoe and Golding hops. This beer is full of flavor and feelings including caramel, toffee, mild hop bitterness, and the awareness that we are all in this together. Drink a Good Humans and be a good human.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a clear nutty brown with a creamy and lacing off-white head. Toast and sweet toffee in the nose, nougat with only a subtle whiff of the dry-hopping. Rich, sweet caramellish body, quite some booze in the finish. Delicious - but don’t expect a hoppy beer. 150413

Cloudy brown beer, tidy off white head. Softish dry palate. Sweet malt, almost milky. Minerals lead to citrus hops with a trailing edge of spicy pine. Finishes slightly dry. An unusual Brown Ale but very very drinkable!

Bottle pour into pint glass. Translucent red-brown color reminds me of Coca-Cola without as much carbonation. Enjoyed what the taste offered: dry, hoppy, roasted malt. This is a good brew to pair with a burger (or other "heavy" sandwich) and fries.

Bottle. Clear deep amber body. Frothy, off-white head. Aroma of toasted grain, biscuits, caramel, earthiness and pine. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, moderate carbonation. Nice balance. Notes of earthiness in the taste along with roasted malt, grass, sugar, all balanced with a lingering bitterness.

12oz bottle-thanks to jtclockwork for sharing–pours a tan head and dark brown color. Aroma is pine/earthy, cocoa-medium malt. Taste is initially light pine that carries through to finish. Earthy, cocoa-medium malt. Interesting, doesn’t quite work.

12 ounce bottle courtesy of a friend. Thanks Eric! Pours a hazy dark amber with a thin frothy tan head that fades fairly quickly. Aroma of earthy, resiny hops and very faint chocolate notes. The taste is chocolate malts, leafy, bitter hops, resiny finish and a light tartness. Medium bodied.
