A lightly hazed golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light banana esters, light cloves, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with banana esters, cloves, light mineral notes, pleasant and smooth. On tap at brewery.

16oz (thx, Gerry C.) shared with George on the front yard. Appearance: hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma: floral, a bit of spices, malty. Taste: along the same lines, quite harsh. Overall: no good balance in here.

Hazy, blonde, thin head. A little phenolic on the nose, but within style, black pepper and pale malt. Off-dry, decent balance, touch phenolic. Not half bad.

On tap at Sooke, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of esters, with cotton candy and caramel. Flavour is drier, with Belgian yeast, some cotton candy, floral notes and biscuity malt. Rather complex for the style, with a very nice cohesion between the Belgian yeast and resulting sweetness. Good stuff.

Draught at Dageraad, Burnaby
Hazy dark blond colour. Crisp malt base, some honey, moderate Belgian yeast character, and some anise that I find inappropriate, but overall it's an excellent Belgian Blonde.

On tap at the brewery. Nice semi cloudy golden body and very little foam on top. Soft faint yeast on the nose. Flavour is very soft yeast notes backes by vague grain and sugar. Possibly the most timid attempt at a Belgian ale I've tasted.

Draft - Flowery Belgian yeast. Clear pale gold with a decent white had. Bitter, Perfumy and a light bitter finish. Quite flavourful for the style.
