Bottle, Blackfish Liquor. Has a beautiful, bright purple colour. There's a deep fruity-berry aroma, with a bit of kettle and just a touch of brett. On the palate, quite fruity, the berry character being quite big here. Good body. Moderate tartness, seems like basic kettle stuff. But the black currant character is pretty good, and that helps make this beer work.

Draft - Berry, woody and earthy. A bit muddled. Clear red with a small white head. Woody and bright berry notes. Woody.

Draught at the Alibi Room, Vancouver, as Elemental Harvest
Dark ruby colour, cloudy, with small pink head. Very light smell of yeast. The acidity is mild, the mouthfeel is dry, traces of currant and mild earthy feeling, mushrooms, freshly cut wood; no bitterness; the final is short, with traces of yeast.
Not offensive, but very simple.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy dark amber with a small white head. Nose brings out cotton candy, red currants, and skittles. Flavour brings out skittles upfront, with some tart red currant. Ugh, way too much skittles. Not good.
