473 ml can. Pours a bright amber with moderate head. Aromas of candied fruit, melons and soft pine. Flavors candied citrus, melons and light resin. Nice but seems too soft/mild. Maybe a good pub tap beer for those that don’t like too much hops.

Süffiger, rund hopfiger Antrunk. Geringe Karbonisierung, frisch, leicht bitter. Hohe Süffigkeit, etwas kräutrig, harzig. Mittellanger Abgang. 10/9/9/10//9

On tap at the brewery. Okay orangey copper body and little head. Soft floral hops on the nose. Flavour is weak lagery hops. Full enough on the mouth, kind of sweet. Not an especially memorable IPA.

Draught at the brewery
Hazy blond colour. Piney hops, crisp body, but also strong pith in the final, hence finishes unpleasantly.
Could have been very good, but the pithy bitterness is excessive. Maybe a different batch…

Light amber color. The aroma is very nice, hoppy, yellow fruits, a bit jammy. Very good malt and toffee flavor, with a pleasant dry and smooth mouthfeel, strong hopping, fresh, with resins and pleasant citrus character, bergamot and cedar too. Long final.
Very good.

Cloudy golden brown color, frothy white head. Juicy cascade hop jump out of the glass. Not surprisingly the mouth has strong grapefruit notes, but the finish is a bit too grainy for me, despite assertive bitterness. However, an easy drinking beer.

It’s been two years and several batches since I last rated this. Hazy golden-copper colour with a loose thin head. Grapefruit aroma with slightly toasty malts, lemon and breadcrust. Very dry - malts are a shade thin up front, salvaged when the woody, grapefruity hops show up at the end. Basically the same brew.

original rating
Hazy copper-straw colour. Woody, toasty, citric aroam. A little thin, but moderate woody bitterness. Balanced, woody, quite tasty. 4-7-7-4-14 = 3.6
