2018 bottle. Thanks, Albert! Pours a clear, ruby color, with a pretty big, foamy, tan head. The aroma is strong rum, anise, black pepper, cherry wood, toffee, and toast. Sweet and boozy. Medium body, with a sharp, acrid, and thin mouthfeel. This is a very complex, drying, and phenolic quad. Interesting, but not great.

Tasting at Brian's
Hazy amber colour. Egg, rum, raisin, alcohol, strong aroma of that; sweet, boozy, some caramel, some raisin; nasty alcohol in the finish.
Crappy concotion, really. Tjis is American brewing of European styles at their worst.

Amber, basically bright, with no head. The aroma is a lot of rum, but lots of alcohol, and then some phenols as well - bubblegum and why's that in a quad? On the palate, this is a booze bomb. There's some buttery rum stuff, but it doesn't even make sense, clashing with everything else. Which is thin, massively phenolic. Harsh, plasticy, bubblegum. Harsh, unbalanced, just none of it comes together. Damn, this is not good.

16.9 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma is intense on the boozy, perfumey, floral rum barrels, with bubblegum, Belgian yeast, and candied sugar. Flavour is rather abrasive, with perfumey, boozy, rum barrels, with lots of bubblegum, alcohol, and candied sugar. A complete mess. Chaotic, boozy, bubblegumy and lacking cohesion overall. Surprisingly poor from Alesong.
This tastes more like rum than rum, not sure if it's ok...

500ml shared by my daughter from Tavour. Nose is vanilla, toffee, rum, and candi sugar. Lightly hazy rust with a medium, lightly lacing, beige head. Flavor is lightly sweet with lots of vanilla, rum, and maltiness.
