On tap the brewery. Pours a hazy yellow gold with medium white head. The aroma is strong dank and tropicla fruit. Slick body, juicy, grapefruit, melon, nice bitterness, very good.

Pours a very hazy, lemon-banana yellow, with a smallish cap of lasting, foamy white head. Aroma has citrus and tropical fruit, some grass, some pine/spruce hops. Flavor is pretty bitter up front. Alcohol content is pretty in your face, too, with an alcohol-burn flavor. There's some grass in the flavor, a touch of citrus. It's not as good as other GN beers.

16oz can pours out a hazy straw color topped with a white. Nose is citrus a little soap chalk and the normal fruit from GN. Taste is more of the citrus coal chalk notes a bitter hop not the normal sweet tropical fruit hops that great notion is known for.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy orange hue with a medium white head. A light toasted malt and citrus nose. Oranges, light toast. Very smooth. Harmonious but not overly flavorful. Smooth, easy. Hides the ABV very well.

2018-10-11, can at The Gull, courtesy of Chris, 7-3-8-4-16=38
Murky blond colour. More rounded and better mouthfeel than I remember, juicy and moderately dank hops, balanced sweetness/bitterness; better hop character than the one I got from the crowler.
Very good.

2018-08-30, tasting at Brian's, crowler, 7-3-6-3-14=33
Cloudy blond colour. It has some of the juicy character of NE IPAs, lean body, much lighter than other TIPAs, just bit of alcohol burn in the finish. Not very bright, but at least it's a drinkable TIPA.

Crowler - Light grass and pithy citrus. Cloudy gold with a small white head. Citrus, pithy and some bitter peel. Bit of booze.

Crowler, pours an extremely cloudy peachy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very yeasty, with lots of chalky yeast and light dankness. Flavour is very chalky and yeasty, with moderately dank hops, lots of yeast, and some biscuity malt. Too chalky and yeasty. Not great.

Crowler. Thin head. Muddy. This has a little bit of piney, grapefruit, and yeasty/muddy. On the palate, doesn't have much malt. Does have a lot of alcohol. Moderate bitterness. The hops lack definition, brightness.
