A very pale and hoppy ale. Using Chinook hops, a mellow bitter makes way for a distinctive citrus/grapefruit aroma. Tiger Rut is Millstone’s most popular beer and is the ‘little brother’ of True Grit. Little known fact:

'Tiger Rut' is an anagram of 'True Grit'.

Cask conditioned handpull at Dragon Inn, Worcester. Pale gold, thin white head. Bit syrupy on the pale malts. Good, peppery hop as well. It’s pretty good. Good golden ale.

Cask, gravity at Merton Summer Beer and Cider Festival, 17-07-09 Pours the most wonderful gold with beautiful head developing and the clarity and condition of this beer was superb, the best looking beer of the day. Wonderful alluring citrus nose. Taste is really crisp and refreshing a lovely fresh citric bite. Nicely bitter and drying towards the end, this was also one of the big faves at Merton it went down a storm. A7 A5 F7 P4 Ov15 3.8

Cask at The Wellington, Sheffield, ’The Peoples Republic of South Yorkshire’ on the Valley of Beer Day 16-08-08 This I understood to be the house beer in this great little pub, although I’m convinced that I’ve had Baby Git somewhere else, the barman said that they take half of each batch brewed which would indicate that it will pop up elsewhere from time to time. This was probably the overall favourite beer of the day, not quite top for me but between the four of us it was either first or second favourite. Quite a stunning beer, great oily hoppy nose, wonderful bitter bite, great punchy hoppy aroma, light straw colour, nice ice creaminess quality about this belter of a beer, that with just a 3.9 rating I wonder whether I’m being a little tight with this one?
